How much does it cost?

The cost for a single mole removal is $299 AUD / $329 NZD. Up to 5 skin tags costs $249 AUD / $269 NZD.

What can I expect after?

The good news is that Radio Frequency (RF) mole and skin tag removal is a safe method which minimises bleeding. A superficial scab will form over the treatment site and will fall off in a short period, revealing smooth skin underneath. The natural healing process is generally 7 to 10 days. Any initial slight discolouration in the surrounding skin will fade over time.

Does it hurt?

Using Radio Frequency (RF) to remove moles and treat other skin conditions may be mildly uncomfortable depending on the size and depth of the mole or lesion. You will feel some heat, and afterwards you may experience a feeling like mild sunburn in the treatment area for a short period of time.

How long between treatments?

If multiple treatments are required, we recommend they're spaced 4 weeks apart. We also recommend 4 weeks before any other treatment in the treated area.

FAQs

How does mole and skin tag removal work?

At Clear Skincare, we have an innovative approach to the safe and effective removal of skin tags and moles, utilising Radio Frequency (RF) equipment to seal the skin as it removes moles and skin lesions from the face or neck. Our results-driven cosmetic mole and skin tag removal treatment is effective, affordable and suitable for all skin types.

What are the different mole removal options?

Radio Frequency:The safe, effective and non-invasive nature of Radio Frequency (RF), which we use at Clear Skincare, makes it ideal for removing skin growths such as moles, skin tags, seborrheic keratoses, and other raised skin lesions. Because there is no cutting, there is no need for stitches. Skin heals quickly and there is rarely any sign of scarring. RF is particularly effective on raised, fleshy skin lesions and small skin tags which you may want removed purely for cosmetic reasons or because they cause discomfort. Surgery:Safety is our top priority, which is why we require customers to consult a dermatologist or GP before proceeding with RF mole and skin tag removal. If the mole you wish to have removed is deep, your doctor may perform a biopsy to test for melanoma and other skin cancers first. Some non-cancerous moles will still require surgical removal by a doctor to ensure that all the skin cells are removed to prevent the mole from re-growing. Cryotherapy:Cryotherapy is the use of extreme cold to freeze and remove abnormal tissue. Cryotherapy is another method of targeting moles and skin tags using liquid nitrogen to destroy the cells and freeze off the skin lesion. At-home remedies:Everyone has heard about home remedies for the removal of skin tags and moles such as using tea tree oil or apple cider vinegar, but these methods are relatively ineffective. There are some over-the-counter wart remover products and skin tag remover products too, but results vary and safety can be a concern. That’s why healthcare providers suggest the most effective methods are those offered by doctors, dermatologists and certified skin clinics such as Clear Skincare clinics.

What makes RF mole and skin tag removal superior to other methods?

At Clear Skincare’s clinics throughout Australia and New Zealand we can remove skin growths such as moles and skin tags from anywhere on the face and neck, and some areas of the body. The RF radio frequency technique is particularly useful for fleshy facial growths such as moles or skin tags. The treatment is non-invasive, quick and relatively pain-free. RF works on the skin surface which means there is no trauma to blood vessels, no bleeding, no need for stitches, zero to minimal scarring and a very short healing period.

Is laser mole removal painful?

At Clear Skincare we use Radio Frequency to remove unwanted moles and skin tags. While not especially painful, using Radio Frequency (RF) to remove moles and treat other skin conditions can be mildly uncomfortable depending on the size and depth of the mole. You will feel some heat, and afterwards you may experience a feeling like mild sunburn in the treatment area

Any initial slight discolouration in the surrounding skin will fade over time.

Can moles come back after removal?

It is possible for moles to regrow after removal, if the skin cells associated with the mole remain within the deeper layers of the skin. Radio Frequency is an effective treatment used for the removal of skin tags and surface moles, along with seborrheic keratoses, and other raised skin lesions. Speak to your doctor or one of Clear Skincare’s experienced and certified staff to learn more about how effective RF will be for you.
